New Work Attire: Realtor Edition — Trying On 4 New Dresses I'll Be Wearing in Rotation

If you follow me for the Santa Cruz market updates, you already know my closet has one very specific job requirement: look put-together for a showing at 9am, survive an open house in the sun by 1pm, and still look decent for a client dinner at 6pm. These four just made the cut.

1. Wide-Leg Jumpsuit — One-and-done outfit, no ironing two pieces, and the wide leg makes it feel more tailored than casual. Easy to move in when you're walking a listing.

2. Ribbed Midi Dress with Pockets — The pockets alone earned this a spot on the list — anyone else constantly holding a phone, keys, and a lockbox code with nowhere to put them? The tie-waist skirt gives it a put-together look that photographs well for listing photos too.

3. V-Neck Ruffle Shift Dress — My "I have four showings back to back and need to not think about my outfit" dress. Flowy, breathable, and the ruffle sleeve adds just enough detail that it doesn't look basic.

4. Belted Bodycon Mini Dress — The most "client dinner" of the bunch. The metal buckle belt and faux pockets dress it up without trying too hard, and it transitions easily from an afternoon closing to an evening event. This is the one linked below.

The verdict: All four are officially in rotation this fall. If you're on your feet all day and need pieces that go from professional to comfortable without a wardrobe change, start with the midi dress for the pockets alone.
